I love the way a chaotic station looks and having bodies or larger objects (maybe just bodies for simplicity's sake) smear blood in a long trail on the ground would be really, really cool looking. Also, What if opening doors with blood on you left bloody hand prints?

Dragging a body that is prone should leave blood smears yes, but if you pick the body up with an aggressive grab it should not. That way you can decide if you want to drag it away fast or slow depending on if you want to leave a clue trail.
