[Change] Forklift Adjustments - UrsulaMejor - 11-14-2019
Because it's been a hot topic, tried to come up with some reasonable tweaks to make the forklift less invincible. Overall, I feel like these fixes are in line with the original intent and represent something closer to a "call your parents" type scenario.
- Dead and unconscious people no longer resist being shoved off forklifts
- Shooting the forklift with a bullet now hits the rider
- Hitting the forklift with a weapon now hits the rider
Standard fare for other vehicles on being hit are to knock you off after one hit. I decided against that for these changes; you will remain on the forklift after being hit and have to be shoved off or manually step down. I guess space forklift drivers wear their seatbelts!

you could make it so that taser shots disable the forklift for a short time and stun the driver, as a way to be able to catch up to the forklift in certain cases

Absolutely yes! I've gotten tired of seeing forklifts be used as an additional layer of armor rather than a forklift.
