Right now getting a vended item works like this: first it checks your active hand, then it checks your inactive hand, then if both hands are full it puts the vended item on top of the vendor. But then if there's already an item there it starts stacking items *underneath* the vendor, often making it impossible to access those items without something like a laggy right click. There doesn't seem to me to be a good reason to do it this way, meanwhile it makes doing things like grabbing 10 teleporter components or 6 donuts more inconvenient.

Just an idea.

Yes. This is actually a bug, I believe.

Another QoL thing to add for anything that vends/creates/fabricates is the drag-drop feature of fabricators, where if you dragclick the fabricator to a tile it will produce on that tile. This is especially useful if that tile has crate on it. Adding that feature to pretty much anything that spits out items would be v useful.

Instead of spawning the items on the turf where the vending machine occupied, how about the user? (Provided it's not a cheeky AI trying to buy something from 3 miles away to spawn it in its core)

Or just... yeah spawn it on top of the vending machine rather than below it. Would be handy-fucking-dandy.

The drag+click would also be super nice to have.
