They used to be scannable, but they could then be used to glitch through walls and such (often in adventure zones).
Instead of fixing that, I guess it was just easier to remove it from being scannable.
But yeah, Id love to see the glass table with glass shards suicide spring board again.

At least make it so the springboard isn't a possible thief target.

you can steal it as a spy thief, click drag the springboard to your PDA and voila.
Unless they fix the go through wall shenanigans with the springboard, i doubt it will be allowed to be scanned again.
