Potentially much more dangerously, this seems to apply to salt. You can't run salt lines along glass windows despite being informed that you apply the solution to the window, which means they're always a free pass for a wraith. (You can salt the floor in front of them, but wall salt doesn't generally get scuffed the way floor salt does.) This makes it nigh impossible to restrict wraiths' movement around the station.
