There should be a limited-time adventure zone for the festivities like Ass Day and Spacemas.
It would be fun to the poles of Mars to visit Space Claus' Workshop.
It could be fun to explore a giant floating ass in space with a crashed pod inside the cavity and aggressive hamsters roaming the gnawed tunnels.
It is fun to have the nerds to do something else than destroying the station or embracing the holidays with deathchem icecream.
