Critter Lasso - Weavel - 06-13-2013

Simply click a bee or a cat or a gibshark or whatever, and you can drag it behind you without it moving about

Re: Critter Lasso - Daeren - 06-13-2013

You can already do this by grab intenting bees

But can you lasso a wendigo king into the escape shuttle then let him loose? This is important.

I think certain friendly critters should follow you if you pet them a few times. Like dogs, cats, or protector buddy. They should follow you at their normal slow walking speed, but you can pull them along and they'll just hold still.

hugging/petting a hostile critter should make them friendly.

reginald p farthing pets the space bear!

If petting tamed animals, I could see a funny admin gimmick out of this.

New custom job: Animal Tamer

Objective-1: tame the space bear
Objective-2: dont die

Is this turning into another zoo topic? I think we all already know how this topic will end.

Re: Critter Lasso - atomic1fire - 06-14-2013

I wasn't going to suggest a zoo, only that if petting could tame angry animals, it might make for a good random fun thing every once and a while.

Also I don't see how grabbing and dragging animals will make them like you, so trying to drag an animal that eats you is likely to end badly.

it wasn't a zoo topic until you came, that is.

Could make it easier for Botanists to use Man-Eaters. I like.
