Improved Sushi Recipes - sartorius - 08-26-2018 The Sushi Roll recipe and related recipes use the oven, which is not really a realistic method of making sushi (or as enjoyable) - I propose a few alternatives that would be slightly more in line with actual sushi making, none of which require the oven. Makizushi - 1: Use sticky rice on seaweed 2: use fish on seaweed 3: use roller pin to roll up sushi roll. Nigirizushi - 1: use rice ball in hand to make oblong ball 2: Use fish on oblong ball 3: Use seaweed on block to complete the nigirizushi Temarizushi - 1: fish on rice ball 2: use seaweed on rice ball. X donburi - 1: Put ingredient(s) on sticky rice, use on a bowl. X sashimi donburi - 1: as above but raw meat or organs (you sick fucks). X sushi roll - 1: put up to 6 ingredients in makizushi. Really, if cooking ever gets reworked, it's methodology that should be messed with, not recipes Too much stuff just relies on putting the correct things in the oven at the correct time and temp |
