Coming from the guy that it happened to, no it does not.
I'm pretty sure it's been around a while; just rarely used.

I think this is the first time i've ever seen someone get customed named banned, but it was required to end Btek's corrupt criminal shoe stealing operation. Now people who value their shoes, no longer have to worry about Btek trying to muscle them out of their shiny shoes by using his hard to pronounce name to intimidate them.

It would stop cults of personality entirely; nobody would know who you are at any given round unless the person specifically let them know.
