I held an electropack in hand, and placed it on a table, it stays in my hand and appears on the table. If I walk away and drop it, it appears on the floor there. See video:

About a minute after I took this video it occurred to me to test what happens when another person picks it up, so I asked the RD who was the first person I saw to pick it up after I put it on the table and this occurred:

Oh, also I can't seem to throw electropacks, but I'm not sure if that is supposed to be that way.

I had this happen to me with the horse mask from the monkey that sticks to you when you wear it.
I ended up juggling it and it slipped out of my hand by luck. I assumed it was a quality of the mask and not a bug.

You're not supposed to be able to drop the pack, throw it or remove it from yourself. This can lead to some weirdness.

Can confirm that I simply picked up the small horse mask and the only way to get it out of my hand was to splash acid on it, even after someone else put it on.

put it in your pocket and pull your jumpsuit off.
that probably wouldnt work with the electropack though, considering that if only fits in your back slot.
