Noticed that if you have a PDA stolen off of your chest slot with a pickpocket gun, that UI icon for toggling the PDA light will just stay there, forever
Also, if you have the light on the PDA, take it off in your hand, and throw it, the light will stay where you were instead of where the PDA is thrown. Will stay like that until you pick the PDA back up again

The icon stays when the pda gets blown up too

It kinda stays there unless you remove your PDA normally from what I've seen.
