I only did it once I swear I didn't even know you could get sick from jellybeans at the time. Also, it used to be AWFUL on donut. Like every round would end with everyone clowning around, gibbing and regenerating, becoming gay and stripping constantly, etc. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - VictorMAngoStein - 11-24-2013 becoming gay? Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - babayetu83 - 11-24-2013 add in a egg that hatches into THE GOOSE for the assistant or chef maybe (the goose is like a beefier version of the amusing duck that launches eggs that do incredibly high brute damage) Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - UrsulaMejor - 11-25-2013 VictorMAngoStein Wrote:becoming gay?A really untasteful disease that gave you a lisp and made you flamboyantly flirt with people Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Klayboxx - 11-25-2013 VictorMAngoStein Wrote:becoming gay? Yup! Jokes at the expense of gay people weren't always against the rules and were actually part of the game! It was a randomly contracted disease and I think pathology could research it?? George melons used to infect you with it as well. Actually a disease that makes people strip would be p funny if thats all it did. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - VictorMAngoStein - 11-29-2013 Wizard Federation ring Turn anyone else into a wizard! Well...not really, but they will get the robe , the staff and the hat and randomly shout magic spells until the rest of the crew beats them to death. We ordered it off the back of a comic book. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Karakoran - 11-29-2013 It would be nice if a traitor (maybe Botanist or Scientist) could grow/chemically create(Just-Add-Water Blob)/release the Blob upon the station. It could serve as a nice destruction for whatever underhanded tactics the traitor is planning and might disrupt the station in general. It would also give the Blob a bit more to do besides occasionally annoy the crew. Maybe something you could get out of a surplus crate? or perhaps some kind of complicated mix involving a space fungus sample? I think surplus crate would be best, that way you could hatch it wherever, run off to do other traitor things, and then when everyone is trying to clean up the blob you are free to do whatever. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Dauntasa - 12-22-2013 houdini implant: cost could be either really expensive or really cheap but trying to use a cloak with it causes it to explode in your face. the important bit is no fucking cloak with this thing an implant that gives you three powers. The first one replaces your sprite with a featureless black one and makes you impossible to examine along with setting your name to whatever you want and making you untrackable to the AI. It can be toggled on and off at will. The second one releases a cloud of harmless but vision-obscuring smoke(alternatively it would also contain all of the reagents that are in your body, which I think would be funny but potentially overpowered) on a pretty short cooldown. The third one lets you teleport but only if nobody can see you and nobody can see where you are teleporting to. This could either work by just letting you teleport wherever you want on a really long cooldown or setting a couple of points that you can snap back to on a short cooldown. Either is fine, the idea is that it's a tool used to escape rather than offensively. the idea behind this is that i think it would be funny for security to round a bend and see the mysterious man they've been chasing is gone while he steps out of a closet halfway across the station and his lab partner starts to wonder why exactly he's been spending 10 minutes "filling his oxygen tank". like you could switch between clark kent, mild-mannered barman and mixologist and El Lucha Grande, mysterious masked wrestler who strikes without warning and vanishes just as quickly without the chef realizing it and that is hilarious to me. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Marquesas - 12-22-2013 Sounds more like a ninja. Add it as a kit, complete with a bunch of shurikens that you can hurl into people for serious damage and bleeding. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - atomic1fire - 12-22-2013 Houdini implant suggestion Replace teleport with "teleports you in a puff of smoke and randomly brings someone else where your current position was." Security shows up and some poor smug is arrested instead. Like one of those magic tricks where someone disappears and their assistant is in the box instead. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Chike101 - 12-23-2013 Thought of this a bit ago. Battle Suit (or some better non-dumb name, I don't care): 7 Telecrystals Strong armor, like, maybe as good as Ancient Armor? Blast resistance of EoD armor if Ancient Armor doesn't have that? Has the passive bonuses of being really resilient, but also has a verb/button activated power of an energy shield. It envelops the wearer with a very obvious shield. (If they aren't wearing the helmet, it leaves the head vulnerable). The power, when activated, renders the wearer unable to move, but also unable to interact with ANYTHING, like shooting/stabbing etc. This invulnerability power runs off a power cell. The suit originally comes with an average 7500 cell like borgs, but it can be upgraded. The power drains at 500/1000 units of power a second when the invulnerability is activated. It has the same sprite as the old EoD armor or the new EoD armor (OR SOMETHING COMPLETELY NEW), but it could come in different colors like Sabers. It's too big to fit in backpacks. Now, this thing doesn't have any offensive benefits, as it's only armor. It only protects you and makes you really slow. It runs on an up-gradable power cell that drains really fast. Of course, the cell could be taken out and recharged. It's REALLY obvious and not stealthy at all. I think it fills a good, empty spot in the telecrystal spawn list, and pretty balanced. Also no it's not spaceworthy Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - KikiMofo - 12-23-2013 Chike101 Wrote:Thought of this a bit ago.Make it space worthy and I think this seems really cool. I mean you are spending 7 crystals on it. You could just spend 1 for the agent card and go get a command syndie armor instead. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Captain_Bravo - 12-23-2013 Let me get this straight: when you activate the armor... you are unable to interact with anything, you can't move, and it's only a matter of time until the power cell runs out? So it's basically a big, giant "Hey! Stand right beside me with a baton, and wait until this shield runs out so you can stun me! I can't do anything to you, so it's perfectly fine!"
