Head of Personnelephant might be a bit large
maybe the HoS gets a Head of Securitree, much like the captain's bonsai except it has a cool beret and a badge
much like for the HoP, the Chief Engindeer may not be a great choice

I got it!
The HedgeHOS
A little hedgehog with a berret.
It needs to be let loose on the station to avoid being fat, and it needs to eat ants.
So basically bring it on patrols, and bother chef or botany for ants.
Also they can also become fat easily, so the hedgehog is the perfect animal for security. Also IRL I'm pretty sure hedgehogs eat bees and wasps, don't bring it near the other head pets I guess.. Or use it on expeditions to kill the bio-dome wasps.

That said, if you really want to give the HoS a pet, make it a pet brick or rock. Googly eyes, helps you apprehend criminals (when you chuck it at their head).

I like the the crab (Head of Snipcurity) or the HedgeHoS.
Just also going to throw out the unlikely suggestion of a rideable police horse. Maybe he bucks of everyone but the HoS off unless they feed him carrots/apples/sugar cubes

I like both the HedgeHoS and the police brick as pets, and the pug for the Chief Engineer so he can put it in the engine core and get murdered for it always
