It may run just a little bit slower, but it should still be playable. I don't know a lot about mac desktop environments, do you have any compositing or fancy eye candy that you can disable?
Also, you will probably want to download the dll for ie8 if you want the in-game computers to be usable.

no, it's slow enough that it affects my abilty to avoid being robusted. I'm not familiar enough with my macbook to know what I can turn off to improve that. Also, is there a way to get a clipboard in wine so I can fart with command+v?
