Ya know, I wouldn't mind more non-lethal guns that did more than just stun or weaken.
Like, what if there was a gun that instead of directly impeding the character, instead impeded the player by messing with their UI.
For instance, a gun that causes motion sickness by making your screen shake similar to a blowout until you puked. Or maybe it swaps your direction keys around so down is up and up is down

i think a good way to implement this would be to implement a 1 or 2-shot gun that does only stamina damage, and even then just enough to slow down your assailant so that you can run away

Give the pda gun an IR blaster setting that lets you open doors you can see and have access to.
