Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - bladex454 - 03-16-2013 rapier of the just! A chaplain traitor item that is essentially a e-sword that makes people conform to them. it has to be created by dippinng said e-sword into holywater,(cause that is safe). Then magically implanting it with a mindslave implant. When someone is hit with it they must follow your orders, if not you can make it fly at them and laugh at the turn out. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Veriox - 03-17-2013 Since the nurfing of the spray bottle, I suggest a new traitor item for the janitor. The High Capacity Spray Bottle, it's pretty much just a spray bottle which can hold 1000 units. And since this would be a traitor only item, people wouldn't be able to make deathsprays and be shit without being a traitor. It should probably cost like 6 telecrystals or something Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Archenteron - 03-17-2013 The RD should be able to buy a Spy Mindslave Implanter (3 uses, no timer) for 7-8 telecrystals because (And didn't Mindslaves used to be science-exclusive)? The Captain and HoP might want one too, maybe slightly higher priced since they can just give their mooks all-access, delegate duties, and fuck around like they were born to do. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Bobbeh - 03-18-2013 QM item, a really high amount of telecrystals maybe: Hazardous animals crate. Looks like an average bee crate or something but comes packed with a horrible animal of choice, from the wild space bee to geese to maybe a shark or something i dunno Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - ISaidNo - 03-18-2013 bladex454 Wrote:rapier of the just!if i see you post any more stupid shit like this i'm just going to forumban you from now on Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Geo - 03-19-2013 An idea for a detective traitor item. Noir Glasses. They look like normal glasses upon examination. When worn they make everything look black and white. (Like how gas masks make everything look green tinted.) What they allow is for the detective to use special monologue on a target in their audio/visual range. The monologue describes how the detective fought the target, injuring them and eventually killing them, this actually effects the target though so that if the target stood in range for the whole monologue they'd die. The monologue is broken into several different bits of text, damage to the target occurs per block of text describing injury, with the last block of text describing and causing death. If the target or the detective moves out of range during the monologue then it ends. It shouldn't be OP as it requires the target and detective to stay within range and there is an obvious cue to people paying attention to what is being said. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Weavel - 03-19-2013 That's a very crazy idea and although I'd like it to work, it just won't. You could keep the idea and go on with it though; maybe have his Noir Shades be like sunglasses with built-in Thermals? Think more simply than that. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Klayboxx - 03-19-2013 Oops, what I meant to say is; It sounds like a cool scp thing, but it doesnt really fit in as a traitor item. His Grace is out there as well. Itd be a neat item on some derelect station Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Geo - 03-19-2013 Weavel Wrote:That's a very crazy idea and although I'd like it to work, it just won't. Yeah I have no idea what is feasible to code at all. :? I'm not sure sunglasses with built in thermals would be worth anything on their own though, as after all detective starts with thermals already and sunglasses only offer a benefit against one item. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Nubcake - 03-19-2013 How about some more general traitor items? Advanced radio jammer: 5 Crystals Works like a powersink, but causes station wide radio failure. I'm conflicted on whether this could be connected to any old wire (making it harder to find, but making less sense) Or if it would have to be connected to a comm wire or a wire in the radio room (above the bridge) which would make it easier to find, but make more sense. Emp Gun: 4 Crystals Look through the vast list of traitor items, and you will find that none of these items are actually useful for disabling cyborgs! The EMP gun is designed expressly for damaging cyborgs, electronics and the AI, although it is less dangerous to the AI. It fires single tile pure EMP shots, and is loaded with 4 shots. Every time a cyborg, sec camera, or any electronic device is hit by an EMP shot it will be disabled temporarily. In the case of Cyborgs, every shot will deal significant burn damage due to damage of internal components. Pointblank shots will seriously damage cyborgs. If fired at a normal crew member, it will have no effect, unless they are wearing thermals. It has a chance of damaging their radio for short while. Syndicate combat belt: more for nuke ops than anyone else, the belt can store flash bangs, revolver ammo and revolvers, to stop you having to have three hands to actually reload your revolver while wearing a jetpack. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - Dauntasa - 03-19-2013 5 crystals seems pretty cheap for something that wipes out the radio for the whole station. Maybe up the price or make it so that you have to actually attach it to a Comm Dish to make it work. Very useful for the detective, with his role and access, but the downside is that if you see a detective wearing sunglasses you can pretty much guarantee he's a traitor. Re: Official Traitor Items Discussion Thread (Wonk) - atomic1fire - 03-19-2013 Detective traitor item idea. Movie effects kit: Comes with fake blood, movie makeup, and other assorted items that allow a keen traitor to convince security to do almost anything. e.g Paint yourself beat up, tell security an assistant did it.
